There are many reasons to sign up for band and countless studies that show why and how band is great for students.

2. PROFESSIONAL FACILITY

In 2019, we moved into new state-of-the-art band room. Our rehearsal space is incredible!

3. ACADEMIC SUCCESS

Students who are in a successful music program all 4 years in High School score 10-12% higher on the SATs.

4. LEARN TEAMWORK

Band is the ultimate collaborative class. Everything we do is collaborative. Study after study shows that the #1 thing employers look for in their employees is the ability to work together and collaborate.  Students in band do this in everything they do and remember, there is no “bench” in band. Everyone has to contribute to the finished product.

5. RELATIONSHIPS

Being in band gives the incoming freshmen a positive group that they can relate to and rely on during the transition from Middle school to High School.
